$30 million for Rady Faculty of Health Sciences

On Thursday, the University of Manitoba received the largest gift in its history. Alumni Ernest and Evelyn Rady, through the Rady Family Foundation, committed $30 million to support the newly renamed Rady Faculty of Health Sciences, including the renamed Max Rady College of Medicine. The gift was revealed at the College of Medicine's 2016 Convocation. "This announcement speaks to legacy, and to the wondrous miracle of people giving and receiving gifts with care and compassion," said David Barnard, President and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Manitoba. The donation honours the memory of Ernest Rady's parents, Max [MD/21] and Rose Rady.
