Team Manitoba brought home a record-breaking 42 medals at the 2017 Canada Summer Games. Congratulations to all of the athletes, coaches, managers, parents, and fans who helped make this happen! Not only did Manitoba athletes set a new record-high for medals won at the Canada Summer Games, but they also set a new record for the province's gold medal haul. Go Toba!

Canada Summer Games Lasting Legacies

The lasting legacy of the 2017 Canada Summer Games will benefit Team Manitoba, along with the province of Manitoba, for years to come. The 2017 Host Society has invested over $8 million in new and enhanced sport facilities, with Sport Manitoba's Canada Games Sport for Life Centre being a key legacy piece. About $800,000 in equipment used for the Games will remain within Manitoba. See what other ways the Games will benefit the province.
