The Power Smart Manitoba Winter Games will be heading north to Thompson for the second time in Manitoba Games history. Sport Manitoba announced the Games will be held March 4 - 10, 2018 marking this Saturday, as the start of our one-year out countdown! We are excited about the addition of swimming to the winter Games and the return of alpine skiing!

Sport Manitoba will be hosting their second Regional Athlete Testing Combine in the south taking place in Winkler on April 28, 2017. The combine offers baseline testing to athletes of any level and sport, an information session for parents, coaches and managers, and an opportunity for coaches to have full team testing done by our sport performance experts. Sport Manitoba takes pride in recognizing the remarkable achievements of amateur sport in our province. On Saturday, April 22, 2017 we will celebrate these successes at the annual Coaching Manitoba IMPACT Awards presented by Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries (10:00 am) followed by the Night of Champions presented by Manitoba Chicken Producers (7:30 pm) at the Club Regent Event Centre.
