Fitness Day Saturday, January 13!

Join us at the Canada Games Sport for Life Centre on Saturday, January 13, from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. for FITNESS DAY! Sample a group fitness class, attend a workshop, or play in our motion zone. PLUS, get in on one-day-only sales and enter for a chance to win a 6-month membership to our Fitness Centre.

Performance Programs: Hockey
Join Jeff Woods (trainer to Jonathan Toews, Bailey Bram, Nolan Patrick, etc.) to explore our High Performance Hockey programs. These target young male and female hockey players looking to take their training and skills to the next level. Check out our dryland training facility and learn what our program involves including ice time, nutrition and more.

Sport Parent Session:
Are you a parent to an athlete? Do you wonder how you can best support them? Join us for this session led by a collection of our experts. Learn about the sport development pathway and ask questions about strength and conditioning for your kids. Please register to guarantee your spot.

Sport Manitoba is seeking enthusiastic, experienced people to serve as volunteer Team Manitoba Mission Staff for the upcoming 2019 Western Canada Summer Games in Swift Current and the 2019 Canada Winter Games in Red Deer. As part of Team Manitoba, you will lead in helping our province's athletes have the experience of a lifetime at Canada's premier multi-sport event. The submission deadline is Thursday, March 15 at 4:00pm.

Top Athletes Train at Brandon's Healthy Living Centre

Several of Western Manitoba's top athletes are training at the Healthy Living Centre (HLC), thanks to a partnership between Sport Manitoba and Brandon University (BU). The collaboration has resulted in the development of the High Performance Centre (HPC), where athletes have access to top-quality equipment and training. Used by national and provincial team athletes, as well as members of the BU Bobcats athletic teams, the HPC is Sport Manitoba's first regional high-performance training centre.
