The Sport for Life Centre is a $43 million facility that focuses on learning, sharing, mentoring and growing through sport.

The Sport for Life Centre is a new home from which Sport Manitoba will serve the province. With this Centre, Sport Manitoba has the opportunity to dramatically increase its reach and its impact.

The Sport for Life Centre combines sport expertise, training space and tools, exercise and sport facilities, therapeutic space, research capabilities and the Hall of Fame in one central location.

This allows Sport Manitoba to:

  • Create programming to introduce new communities to sport and healthy living.
  • Make sport opportunities accessible in Winnipeg's core area.
  • Provide groundbreaking coaching and training opportunities for amateur and elite athletes, available on-site or on-line.
  • Create a coaching academy to build community resources.
  • Train generations of leaders.
  • Bring Manitoba sports heroes to life.

The Sport for Life Centre will profoundly improve access to sport and sport training in Manitoba.

Consistent with the income tax interpretations of "qualifying donations", this contribution is made voluntarily without any conditions and no benefit will accrue to me (or related parties) as a result of my donation. I confirm that this donation does not or will not reduce any obligation, directly or indirectly that I (or related parties) have for "non qualifying" expenses such as membership, training, or program registration fees, travel expenses or other like expenses that I would normally be required to pay to the recipient sport organization or any related or affiliated body.
