Member Spotlight: Pilates Downtown

203-254 Edmonton Street (at the corner of Graham & Edmonton)

New year, new feature! This year, we’re going to run a regular feature spotlighting some of the fabulous, unique businesses in downtown Winnipeg. This week, let’s get moving!

Pilates Downtown

Linda Jacob’s passion for Pilates started in professional dance school. She loved it instantly and has for the past 25 years. After teaching Pilates to friends in Mexico and Barcelona, she moved back to Winnipeg and knew she wanted to teach it full time. A certified instructor for the past ten years, Linda loves using equipment and props to keep her classes fun and challenging.

Pilates Downtown is a boutique Pilates studio that caters to clients of all ages and abilities. In addition to their small group classes, they also offer semi-private and private sessions. Whether you’re in the mood for Merrithew Fascial Movement, Barre exercises, Reformer, Cadillac, Mat classes or TRX suspension (and more!), the certified instructors at Pilates Downtown are geared to get you moving.

Check out their variety of virtual classes hosted on Zoom to keep moving, even at home.
