Pitch'Day - Hell Yeah! We're Excited Too! Only two more sleeps...

TWO-TIME WINNER OF COMPETITION ENERGIZES OUR MICROPHONE AS MASTER OF CEREMONIES

We are excited and pleased to welcome two-time Pitch'Day veteran Bryce North as the Master of Ceremonies for this year's event.

Bryce first presented at Pitch'Day in 2012 where he won Best Technology Pitch for Advolve Media. Bryce took home the first-place award at last year's Pitch'Day with TrapTap. TrapTap is a completely legal, handsfree, speed trap indicator with pre-mapped red light cameras/school zones and community mapped radar traps/road hazards.

These days Bryce is focusing most of his energy on TrapTap. Bryce and his co-founders launched a Kickstarter campaign for TrapTap in March 2016 (only four months after Pitch'Day) hoping to raise $80,000 US, and closed the campaign in May, having raised over $373,000 US and selling over 5,000 units. The team spent the past year setting up manufacturing and distribution systems to fulfill their Kickstarter orders, and are now focused on closing retail deals and scaling manufacturing.

Bryce graduated from the Asper School of Business at the University of Manitoba with a B.Comm. (Hons.) degree with a double major in Entrepreneurship and Marketing. He launched his first business in 2010 when he was still in school, and his second business, Advolve Media, in the year he graduated.

Bryce is a veteran presenter, and not just through Pitch'Day. In addition to winning several competitions while still in business school, Bryce was a Regional Winner of the Globe and Mail/Telus Corp Small Business Challenge Contest, a winner of the Fundica Funding Roadshow, a finalist of the National Angel Investor Organization Most Promising Startup award, winner of the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce 2014 Spirit Awards in the Startup Business Category, and North American Region finalist of “Get in the Ring,” the Global Startup Competition.
