Judging Ramp Up Weekend 7 no cake walk, but shaming app takes top prize

After 55, grueling but 'worth it' hours, seven teams made it to the finish line to deliver their 3 minute pitches to a panel of startup and open data experts at Ramp Up Weekend 7 (RUW7) presented by Innovate Manitoba. The quality of the top ideas and pitches made it difficult choose a winner. Exigence headed to San Francisco after Fundica win

Another success story from Exigence, this time for their winning pitch at the Fundica Roadshow. The second time in as many years that an Innovate Manitoba Venture'Challenge Alumni has taken top spot at the pitch competition. The Province of Manitoba is accepting applications from now until May 20, 2015 from entrepreneurs between the ages of 18 and 34 who are either pursuing or considering the commercialization of a technology-driven business idea.
