Richardson Foundation's $10-million gift ignites a transformation

Earlier this month, the Richardson Foundation announced it will contribute $10 million towards urgent classroom and laboratory upgrades across the University of Manitoba, as part of the university's Front and Centre campaign. Campaign Update

Front and Centre

Last week, the Richardson Foundation announced a $10-million gift in support of classroom and laboratory upgrades, the latest gift aimed at improving and developing innovative places and spaces on our campuses, including the Assistive Technology Lab. In March, the John J. Conklin Theatre opened in the renovated Taché Hall thanks to a donation from E.D. Conklin, in honour of his father. Back in December, Stanley and Dorothy Pauley donated $5 million to support a new building for electrical engineering students, while one year ago, through the continued support of donors and government partners, the Active Living Centre officially opened, ushering in a new era of wellness to campus.
