The 2017 Canada Summer Games detailed sport schedules have been released! The schedules are subject to change until Games time and it is encouraged to continually check back for updates. New Look for 2018 Games

New logo for 2018 Manitoba Winter Games Powered by Manitoba Hydro

The Games will have a new look going into Thompson as Sport Manitoba unveiled a new logo for the 2018 Manitoba Winter Games Powered by Manitoba Hydro. The new logo prominently features Manitoba Hydro's signature blue representing their ongoing support as Title Sponsor of the Games, while still carrying over pieces of the past with the gold symbol from the previous Manitoba Games logo. The logo unveiling was part of Thompson Host Society's Host Tour festivities, where staff and volunteers from across the province gathered to prepare and plan for the Games arrival in Thompson in March 2018.

Alumni Profile - James Lavallee

James Lavallee

James Lavallee has been sporting the Team Manitoba uniform since the 2011 Western Canada Summer Games for canoe/kayak. His journey continued in 2013 at the Canada Summer Games followed by the 2015 Western Canada Summer Games. James will go on to represent Team Manitoba at the 2017 Canada Summer Games in his hometown of Winnipeg. With all of his hard work over the years, this Olympic hopeful is sure to catch your attention this summer!

Half a Century of Canada Games

Manitoba Hall of Fame 50 years

From 1967 to 2017, the Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame will be celebrating 50 years of Canada Games presented by MLT Aikins. The exhibit opens on June 6, 2017 through to the spring of 2018. Come and see medals, artefacts, uniforms, memorabilia and stories from every province and territory in the nation from five decades of Summer and Winter Canada Games.
