Celebrating Manitoba’s Best

Sport Manitoba takes pride in recognizing the remarkable achievements of amateur sport in our province. On Saturday, April 23, 2016 we will celebrate these successes at the annual Coaching Manitoba IMPACT Awards presented by Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries (10:00 am) followed by the Night of Champions presented by Manitoba Chicken Producers (7:30 pm) at the Club Regent Event Centre. Tickets are now available to purchase. Who will we recognize?

Help us select the next Junior Athletes of the Year! You can help determine who will win the trophy. The winners of this “people's choice” vote will count as one vote on the official selection committee for the Sport Manitoba Awards. More than 4,000 of Canada’s best athletes will be participating in this multi-sport event. Manitoban Receives 2015 Roland Michener Award

Celebrating the one year anniversary of the 2015 Canada Winter Games, the Canada Games Council (CGC) has announced that Sam Renooy of Oakbank, Manitoba is the female recipient of the national 2015 Roland Michener Canada Games Award. As team captain, Renooy was an integral member of Manitoba’s gold medal winning Ringette team. Congrats Sam!
