Grey Cup Legacy

Get Funding through Grey Cup Legacy

The Grey Cup Legacy Fund was established by the Grey Cup Festival Committee, with the surplus funds arising from the 1991 Grey Cup Game in Winnipeg. The fund promotes excellence in football and other sports in Manitoba through the development of coaching expertise. Scholarships and grants range from $1,500 - $4,000!

Coaching Manitoba Bursaries

Coaching Manitoba annually presents bursaries to four students who demonstrate a commitment to coaching in Manitoba. This encourages students to continue coaching while attending a post-secondary institution. One male and one female student coach from the Winnipeg region and one male and one female student from rural Manitoba will be selected to each receive a bursary of $500. You'll have to hurry to apply though, applications are due Friday, May 12, 2017!

Flight Deck = Bombers Game for Your Team

Coaches, take your youth sports team to a Blue Bombers game by applying for the Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries Flight Deck. This charitable initiative supports youth involved in amateur athletics throughout Manitoba, and recognizes the volunteer efforts of their coaches. ALL coaches and/or assistant coaches who have completed Respect in Sport are eligible.
